Paddy Pimblett has mastered the art of the weight cut, but it’s still quite a sight seeing the numbers he puts on the scale between fights.

Seven weeks out from his meeting with fellow lightweight contender Benoit Saint Denis at UFC 329 on July 11, Pimblett revealed on his vlog just how much weight he is preparing to cut for the fight.

Watch his training camp weigh-in below.

According to the footage, Pimblett is hovering around 191 pounds for the Saint Denis fight, which will have a non-title fight limit of 156 pounds. That’s a 35-pound cut.

“It’s nice obviously having an opponent, date set, everything’s ready to go when we’re fighting, know how long I’ve got,” Pimblett said. “It’s all about making weight and being ready for the fight.”

Anyone who has followed Pimblett’s career is familiar with the Englishman ballooning up between fights only to show up on weight when the time comes to step on the scale. In eight UFC appearances, Pimblett has never come in overweight, and actually came in under championship weight at 154 pounds for his interim lightweight title bout against Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 this past January.

Pimblett lost a unanimous decision to Gaethje to lose his undefeated UFC record after scoring seven straight victories over the likes of Michael Chandler, King Green, Tony Ferguson, and others. He now has to get past the red-hot Saint Denis if he wants to stay in the thick of the lightweight title picture.
