Dana White has added another honor to his résumé — the cover of TIME.
The long-running magazine announced on Tuesday that White is on the cover of the most recent issue of TIME and tells the story of “The Promoter: How Dana White Took the UFC From the Fringes to the White House.”
Check out the magazine cover below.
The title article doesn’t reveal much that’s new to anyone who has watched the UFC over the past several years, but puts a highlight on the UFC heading to the White House for the first time on June 14 — which is headlined by a lightweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. But it also dives into the relationship between White and President Donald Trump over the years.
The one new public revelation in the article is that White, when asked about not having a women’s bout on the card, said he tried to make a strawweight title fight between Mackenzie Dern and Zhang Weili, but the UFC “couldn’t get it done.”
UFC White House will have a second title fight, however, as for middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira takes on Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title.
