Tyrese Maxey believes Luka Doncic’s combination of confidence and step-back shooting would give him a chance against just about anyone — even Thanos.
Asked which player he would back to defeat the Marvel supervillain in a one-on-one matchup, the Philadelphia 76ers guard immediately turned to Doncic.
“I mean, Luka. He isn’t scared of anything,” Maxey said. “I can see Luka on an island, one-on-one with Thanos. I think Luka can step back on pretty much anybody. I don’t think Thanos would scare him at all.”
Whether even Doncic could find a way past the Mad Titan is debatable, but Maxey clearly trusts the Slovenian superstar to create enough space for his trademark step-back.
