Barcelona began their journey in the Catalan League with a hard-fought victory against MoraBanc Andorra, who stood their ground until the last minute. Barcelona won 88-84 in an intense match, marked by the good offensive rhythm of the Barcelona side and the resistance of a rival that never stopped competing.
From the start, Barça tried to impose their rhythm and found their main offensive references in Darío Brizuela and Tyrese Martin. Both were crucial in keeping the Barcelona team ahead on the scoreboard and eventually tipping the balance in their favor. Brizuela finished with 19 points, while Martin contributed 16.
But MoraBanc Andorra did not make things easy. The Andorran team found their standout player in Kyle Kuric. The shooting guard, a former Barça player, kept his team in contention for much of the game and repeatedly punished the Barcelona defense, reaching 21 points, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Barcelona victory and his team from being eliminated from the Catalan League.
