According to Diario SUR, Barcelona are close to completing the signing of Olek Balcerowski from Unicaja.
The Spanish outlet reports that negotiations between the two clubs are at an advanced stage, with the deal expected to be finalized in the near future.
Barcelona are looking to add another interior presence after Moses Wright’s departure, while Balcerowski’s status as a homegrown player under Liga Endesa regulations also makes him an attractive target.
Unicaja are expected to receive financial compensation for the transfer, although it remains unclear whether Barcelona will activate the player’s full buyout clause or negotiate a lower fee.
Balcerowski signed a contract extension with Unicaja earlier this year, keeping him tied to the club through 2028. However, after an inconsistent 2025-26 campaign, the Málaga side has reportedly been open to listening to offers for the Polish big man.
