During the same stream, Broner repeatedly referenced his upcoming return and training plans.

“Tomorrow we’re going to hit the gym in the morning,” Broner said.

At another point in the livestream, Broner reminded viewers that he still has a fight ahead of him despite the party atmosphere surrounding the trip.

“Hey, SSB. I got a whole fight Saturday,” Broner said. “Brother, focus, man.”

Broner also claimed he had stayed disciplined throughout the day.

“Sober the whole day, chat,” he said.

Later in the stream, however, Broner admitted that might not last.

“I don’t think I’m gonna stay sober, gang. I ain’t gonna lie.”

The comments summed up the same push-and-pull that has followed Broner throughout the second half of his career. There is still visible confidence and belief in another comeback, but also the distractions and unpredictability that have repeatedly stalled his momentum over the last several years.

Broner made it clear that retirement is not on his mind yet. The former champion says winning one more world title remains the goal before he walks away from boxing for good.
