With the possible exception of some of his early years in CMLL as La Sombra, a strong argument could be made that 2026 has been the best year of Andrade El Idolo’s career. And after competing at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium this past weekend, the luchador achieved a feat many haven’t in their careers, having now competed at the biggest events for AEW, AAA, CMLL, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and WWE. Taking to X on Tuesday morning, Andrade gleefully touted what he had accomplished with a checklist and a brief statement.

Andrade had actually competed at several CMLL Aniversario’s before the 80th Aniversario he listed, though that one had arguably more significance as he headlined the show, defeating Volador Jr. in a mask vs. mask match. He would have similar success at WrestleMania 40 in 2024, teaming with Rey Mysterio to defeat Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar, and Wrestle Kingdom 20 this past January, where he and United Empire stablemates Callum Newman, Great O’Khan, Henare, and Jake Lee defeated Dave Finlay, Drilla Maloney, Gabe Kidd, Hiromu Takahashi, and Shingo Takagi of Unbound Company.
While Andrade was less successful at TripleMania XXIX, losing to Kenny Omega in a match for the AAA Mega Championship, the AEW National Champion continued his streak of strong performances at big shows by winning the Casino Gauntlet at All In this past Sunday. With the victory, Andrade now finds himself with a guaranteed AEW Men’s World Championship match against Will Ospreay in a match that would see the two wrestlers collide for the first time.
