When asked about reports linking Shakur to Zuffa Boxing, White did not dismiss the possibility.

“Possibly,” Dana White said when asked whether Shakur Stevenson could join Zuffa Boxing. “Listen, I think that everybody’s going to be here at Zuffa Boxing eventually.”

Dana didn’t say what he meant by “everybody” will join up with Zuffa. He’s already signed Conor Benn and Jai Opetaia. If they ink Shakur and Haney, it would be a massive start for the company.

White then specifically referenced Devin Haney after recent comments from Bill Haney about a reported $100 million offer connected to Devin’s future.

“Including Devin Haney after his dad put out that cryptic hundred-million-dollar contract message.”

Zuffa Boxing has aggressively expanded during its first several months, signing prospects and building cards around undefeated fighters facing one another instead of protecting records.

White pointed toward Sunday’s event as an example of the direction the company wants to continue moving.

“When the best fight the best, that’s what everybody wants to see.”

“A great card top to bottom with lots of up-and-coming prospects, lots of undefeated guys fighting undefeated guys,” said Dana.

White also explained that Zuffa wants fighters to take risks without worrying about losing leverage after a defeat.

“Nobody has to worry about being cut or their money being changed with a loss,” said Dana. “That’s how it works.”

White has repeatedly said he expects Zuffa Boxing’s biggest progress to come closer to 2027 as more fighters enter the promotion’s system and rivalries begin developing naturally inside the roster.

“Judge us by our body of work as we head into ’27,” White said. “They’re only going to get better.”
