Jorge Masvidal has a few fact checks for Chael Sonnen, so to speak.
Responding to a recent video posted by Sonnen in which the three-time UFC title challenger questioned whether Masvidal has been telling the truth about a possible comeback, Masvidal posted a video of his own in which he furiously insulted Sonnen and disputed his claims.
“For starters, this motherf*cker has some nerve,” Masvidal said on his Death Row MMA show. “You know, he’s transitioning into a woman and he’s talking shit to me. You lesbian-ass motherf*cker—and no disrespect to the lesbians—this motherf*cker needs to chill because now that he’s a lesbian he thinks that I can’t slap him. I’ll still slap the f*ck out of you, Chael. That’s one, you f*cking lesbian, in transition. Look at them f*cking tits and glasses he’s wearing. He looks like one of my f*cking aunts, bro.
“I can’t take this guy seriously. This guy, literally, the greatest thing he ever did was fight Anderson Silva, the first fight, still lose, get triangled and tapped, and he was on seven different PEDs. Dude, you can never talk to me. I’ve never had a f*cking positive exam for steroids in my f*cking life. Shut the f*ck up, Chael. You’re talking to a real fighter, one.”
Masvidal wanted to specifically address Sonnen accusing him of having an unrealistic timeline in regards to a possible comeback as well as Masvidal previously stating his interest in fighting at the UFC White House event on June 14.
“Two, there’s so many things he’s saying that just don’t make sense,” Masvidal said. “I never said I’m officially fighting at the White House you f*cking, lying piece of shit. There was a lot of interest in that fight at first and there was a big chance I was going to be on that card and the UFC had asked me for a couple of things, if I could fight for Miami they were going to put me on the White House card, then the date changed from July 4 to June something and a lot of people thought they were fighting on the White House card, then only six fights came out. So Chael, shut the f*ck up. I’m not contradicting anything, it’s called I’m rolling with the punches now that the UFC has offered me something else you f*cking idiot. I know you know shit about communication, so you probably can’t think that they offered me something that fell through, now they’re going to offer me something else, you dumb f*ck.
“I never said I’m in the testing pool, bring that clip up. He also said Nate Diaz is coming back to the UFC to fight me. I never f*cking said that. I could give a f*ck less to fight Nate Diaz ever again, beat his ass twice already, so another lie you’ve been caught in you f*cking lesbian.”
As of now, it’s still unclear when or if Masvidal plans to fight again whether it’s in the UFC or elsewhere, but the inaugural “BMF” champion sounds determined to fight again after a brief retirement in 2023. This beef with Masvidal seemingly puts another option on the table for “Gamebred” if he can convince Sonnen to also make a comeback.
It just so happens that Masvidal has his own promotion, Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA, with which to arrange such a fight, and he welcomes Sonnen to meet him in the ring.
“You’re just a trash reporter, but I get why he’s doing it, because every time he mentions my name, his 17 fans tune in because he literally has no f*cking views,” Masvidal said. “Everybody has forgotten about this guy. When they see this guy on the broadcast, they just f*cking mute it. Whenever, the pre-show, the after-show, that’s the reason they’re flopping right now.
“So Chael, I’ve got a proposition for you. I’m going to beat the living f*cking brakes off of you, but not for free. I’ll pay you to come over to my promotion, bare-knuckle MMA, I’ll go up to heavyweight, beat the f*cking lesbian out of you. No offense to the lesbians because I love the lesbian community, but I know you’re in the middle of transition, so before you go full lesbian, let me beat your ass right now.”
