WWE’s acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide has provided more exposure to the Lucha style when it comes to the mainstream American audience. Shows like the recent Worlds Collide have even put NXT talent up against AAA stars, and this year’s AAA TripleMania received a lot more attention than previous iterations because of the WWE partnership.
