A WILDCARD in a tennis tournament has been going viral – for all the wrong reasons.
The competitor in the £22,000 competition has been dubbed the “worst player of all time” as fans reacted to footage that has emerged online.
Some punters have even expressed fears that she has “never picked up a racket in her life”.
The clip that has been shared of the match that ended in a 6-0, 6-0 straight sets defeat for Hajar Abdelkader has left people scratching their heads.
The W35 Nairobi contest, which lasted just 37 minutes, was easily won by Lorena Schaedel.
Abdelkader, 21, produced 20 double faults and won just THREE points across the full match, with two of those coming from double faults in her favour.

A first serve percentage of just 8.3 per cent was scored and that marginally increased to 9.1 per cent for second serves.
Reacting to the footage, one person wrote: “Based on the movement on the court (if it can even be called that), it looks more like Hajar Abdelkader has played her very first tennis match in her entire life.”
Another asked: “Has she ever even played tennis? I mean, serving is the absolute basics, and she’s not even capable of serving.”
Others questioned the wild card entry.
One said: “That was quite a wild card.”
Another wrote: “They gave a WC to someone who never picked a tennis racquet before.”
A further social media posted: “This is completely insane.”
One other agreed, adding: “Wow that is a shocker.”
