MANCHESTER UNITED legends Nicky Butt and Paul Scholes have an ongoing feud with Lisandro Martinez.
The two icons made comments about the Argentine defender in the build-up to the Red Devils’ 2-0 win over bitter rivals Man City.
Martinez responded to the criticism with a stunning performance, marking Erling Haaland out of the game.
He then called out Butt and Scholes, telling them to come “to my house” and speak “face to face”.

Scholes said: “Martinez against Haaland… you need Matthijs De Ligt and Harry Maguire back for that.”

Butt chimed in: “Haaland would pick Martinez up and run with him. It’ll be like when you see a dad after school running down the road with a little toddler. That’s what it’d be like.”
Scholes then added: “He’d score then throw him in the net.”
After the Manchester derby and Martinez’s comments, Butt brutally hit back again.
He said: “We’re not on Sky doing commentary on a game. It’s tongue and cheek. It’s quite obvious Haaland’s not going to pick you up and run with him.
“It’s f***ing obvious that. It’s figure of speech.
“I just think when someone gets so upset about someone in the media or on a podcast, saying something about them.
“To come out and start basically saying they can say what they want after a game, come to my house and all that. It’s like f***ing grow up.
“If you’re going to get so emotional about someone saying something about you, and come out and react like that, you shouldn’t be at a big football club.
Come to my house and all that. It’s like f***ing grow up.”

Scholes responded on social media to the invite to Martinez’s house, writing: “Someone’s had a good game, was really happy for you… Tea, no sugar please.”
