Aleksander Balcerowski is no longer a member of Unicaja Malaga, as announced by the Spanish club.

After two seasons, during which Balcerowski won the 2024 Supercup with Unicaja, as well as the Copa del Rey and the FIBA Basketball Champions League in 2025, the time has come for a separation.

Balcerowski began his professional career with Gran Canaria, where he played from 2017 to 2023, except for the 2021-22 season, when he played for Mega as a loaned player.

This was followed by a jump to the EuroLeague: in the 2023-24 season he was a member of Panathinaikos and won the EuroLeague before returning to Spain and playing two years for Unicaja.

Last season, Unicaja failed to reach the Endesa League playoffs, while at the Basketball Champions League Final Four they were stopped in the semifinals by AEK Athens.
