Middleweight veterans Edmen Shahbazyan and Brunno Ferreira will clash at UFC’s upcoming numbered event in Los Angeles, MMA Fighting has confirmed following a report from Leo Guimaraes. UFC 331 takes place at Crypto.com Arena on Sept. 19.
The UFC is yet to announce the headlining attraction for the card.
Shahbazyan (16-6) attempts to get back on track after losing a bonus-winning three-round decision against Brendan Allen in June. The defeat snapped his three-fight winning streak from 2025, when he beat Andre Muniz, Andre Petroski and Dylan Budka.
Ferreira (15-4) was on a roll after also going 3-0 in 2025, capped off by a decision win over former title contender Marvin Vettori, but he has since lost twice this year against Gregory Rodrigues and Ikram Aliskerov.
UFC 331 is building up to be a Brazil vs. The World type of card so far with previously reported bouts for Renato Moicano, Patricio Pitbull, Ryan Gandra and Eduarda Moura versus Brian Ortega, Doo Ho Choi, Ozzy Diaz and Casey O’Neill, respectively.
