The top four fighters competing at UFC 330 are set to answer questions and then face off after the pre-fight press conference on Thursday.
UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev is set to face Ian Machado Garry in the main event. Recognized as the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the sport, Makhachev made a flawless transition to 170 pounds as he dominated Jack Della Maddalena to become champion.
Now Makhachev faces a very stiff test in his bid to defend the title as Garry enters the fight with a 17-1 record overall including a 10-1 resume in the UFC.
In the co-main event, Mackenzie Dern looks to make the first defense of her strawweight title when she takes on fellow grappler Gillian Robertson. Dern has won her last three fights in a row including a victory over Virna Jandiroba when they battled it out for the vacant 115-pound title.
As for Robertson, she enters the fight off five wins in a row including victories over Amanda Lemos, Marina Rodriguez and Michelle Waterson-Gomez. This is her first attempt at becoming UFC champion.
