Ryan Gandra is proving to be one of the middleweight division’s fastest finishers with another knockout at UFC 329.
The Brazilian slugger improved to 2-0 in the UFC, and scored his fourth straight first-round knockout, needing just 75 seconds to put away Zach Reese at Saturday’s event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Watch the fast finish below.
Gandra, as usual, was the aggressor from the start, and it wasn’t long before he landed a looping left hand around Reese’s defenses that put Reese on his backside. There was no time for Reese to recover as Gandra immediately pounced with more heavy punches, forcing referee Mike Beltran to step in for the first-round stoppage.
That’s nine straight wins now for Gandra (10-1), who earned a Dana White Contender Series contract in 2025 with a first-round knockout of Trent Miller. On the other side, Reese (10-4, 1 NC) sees his UFC record fall to 4-4 (1 NC) as he suffers his second straight loss.
