AEW’s tagline is “Where the Best Wrestle,” and it seems that Tommaso Ciampa wholeheartedly agrees, naming numerous stars he feels he can have great matches with.

In his short time in AEW, Ciampa has won the TNT Championship and faced the likes of Claudio Castagnoli, Darby Allin, Chris Jericho, and Kyle Fletcher, and has his sights set on more wrestlers — and bigger names — in AEW. In an interview with the “Battleground Podcast,” he listed two people with whom he would like to have long-term programs.

“If we’re talking not just a match, if we’re talking like a program, six months, I mean, top of the list is MJF. Second, or I guess 1A and 1B, would be Jon Moxley,” he said. “If it’s going to be a blood feud, per se, or something that’s long-lasting, those are the two guys that on the mic, I would love to go battle with them, in the ring, I’d like to battle with them.”

He then listed off several names on the AEW roster he believes he could have great matches with, which includes someone he wrestled at the start of the year — Kyle Fletcher. Ciampa praised the talent on the AEW roster, which gives him plenty of options for future matches, including against the likes of Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega.

“I’d like to get in there with Kyle again. You know, we had just met for the first time, and then next thing you know, ‘Hey, you guys are going to go out there and have whatever it was, 18 minutes or whatever.’ Okada, I’ve never shared a ring with. I’m kind of on a quest right now for a new title, so naturally that brings Andrade and Okada and Moxley right to the top of my list,” he said. “I mean, Omega and Ospreay are natural dream matches, you know? Whether that’s a program or a one-off. There’s just so many guys, man.”

Ciampa has had some great matches in AEW, calling his clash with Allin his love letter to wrestling, and he believes he still has a lot more to offer AEW fans.
