The Indianapolis Colts made the most shocking move of the NFL trade deadline, acquiring star corner Sauce Gardner from the New York Jets. Just three games into his tenure with the Colts, Gardner is dealing with an injury.
The 25-year-old corner left Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans after just three plays with a calf injury. Gardner was injured while trying to cover Texans tight end Cade Stover. During the play, Gardner started limping on the field. It was unclear when he sustained the injury during the play.
Gardner is considered questionable to return to the contest.
Prior to 2025, Gardner has proved to be a durable player, missing just three games in his first three seasons.
