This is the live blog for Arman Tsarukyan vs. Mugzy, a preliminary match at RAF 9 from College Park Center in Arlington, Tex. on Saturday night.
One of the top MMA fighters in the world, Tsarukyan has spent much of 2026 moonlighting as the face of RAF, competing in the last four events for the promotion, and as the main event in the past two. Despite not hailing from a wrestling background, Tsarukyan has been dominant over that stretch, winning all four matches decisively. Most recently, Tsarukyan tech falled Urijah Faber at RAF 8 in April.
Mugzy, real name Keelon Jimison, is a staple of RAF. The influencer and wrestler frequently appears at events, and has also wrestled twice under the banner, losing both times. Mugzy was most recently tech-falled by Clay Guida at RAF 6 in February.

Mugzy is out with a ton of swagger. Can’t imagine it’s going to matter though. Arman should run through him.
Tsarukyan takes the center early and gets a quick pushout as Mugzy just backed out.
Reset and Mugzy shoots but Tsarukyan defends and hits the go behind, spinning Mugzy to the mat for the takedown. Mugzy trying to escape and then gets a gut-wrench before a stall. Tsarukyan almost had a second turn but not quite.
Tie-up now and good hand fight going on. Mugzy tries a throw and OH! Mugzy and Tsarukyan go flying but Mugzy had the control getting back points too.
Now they restart and Tsarukyan goes for a push out. Mugzy pushes Tsarukyan after the finish and Tsarukyan sort of headbutts him. Not exactly a headbutt, but they clash heads weirdly. Then they talk it out and reset.
Tsarukyan with a blast double and finishes it quickly. Right into a leg lace and turn for Tsarukyan and he’s going to get the Tech.
Except not! Just before the end, Mugzy went shoulders down, so Tsarukyan gets the fall!
Oh, nevermind. Commentary said he got the fall but the official decision is a tech fall. 16-5 for Tsarukyan.
