“I told him, ‘It’s time. All that talking, and that push yesterday. It’s time,’” said Foster to DAZN Boxing after the weigh-in. “I walked right up on him. You see what it is.”

“I’m coming straight with it. No bull s***. It’s time. I’m ready. That s*** was soft.”

Foster was unimpressed by Ford’s shove and predicted a one-sided performance when they meet in the ring.

“He damn near pushed himself off the stage. He’s a little boy, and I’m going to show him that tomorrow, him and his whole team. Man, I’m going to dominate,” said Foster. “I hear all the 50-50 talk. I hear all that. I’m going to show y’all there’s levels, and I’m going to be victorious.”

The Houston native also said he intends to answer critics who continue to question his standing at the top of the division.

“They ain’t going to be doubting my skills no more. They got Ford making excuses. I got to show them again that I’m the truth, and that you can’t count me out or any of these guys close to me. I’m going to show them,” O’Shaquie said.

“Hey, I’m hyped up. I’m ready, and excited, man. The weight was made easy. This is going to be a hell of a fight.”

Foster appeared energized throughout the weigh-in and embraced the opportunity to defend his title in front of a hometown crowd.

The Foster-Ford main event headlines a DAZN card from Houston on Saturday night, with Foster making another defense of the WBC super featherweight title against the former featherweight champion.

Foster sounds convinced the pre-fight debate ends this weekend. Now he has to back it up against one of the division’s most talented challengers.
