UFC BJJ continues to add to its growing roster of talent.

On Saturday, during UFC Mexico, the UFC announced that Nicky Rodriguez will make his promotional debut at UFC BJJ 6, where he takes on Elder Cruz in a heavyweight contest.

A two-time ADCC silver medalist, “Nicky Rod” rose to prominence as part of the Danaher Death Squad and later helped found B Team Jiu Jitsu, where he won the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational. Cruz is also an accomplished black belt, winning world championships at the brown and blue belt levels, before also winning the IBJJF No Gi Worlds in 2023 and 2024.

Also added to the card, Ana Rodrigues takes on Jasmine Rocha and Manuel Ribamar squares off with Caio Vinicius.

UFC BJJ goes down March 12 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. It is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Mason Fowler and Pedro Machado, and also a women’s bantamweight title bout between Ffion Davies and Cassia Moura.
