The Minnesota Timberwolves snapped a grueling 18-game losing streak at TD Garden by defeating the Boston Celtics 102-92 on Sunday. France’s Rudy Gobert contributed nine points, 14 rebounds, and four blocks, while Italian starter Donte DiVincenzo added eight points, and French reserve Joan Beringer saw a brief appearance. The hosts struggled as Bosnian Luka Garza notched five points, followed by four points each from Portuguese starter Neemias Queta and Ukrainian Max Shulga, who made history by scoring in both an NBA and G League game on the same day. Spanish Hugo Gonzalez remained scoreless, and British Amari Williams did not play, while Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic remained sidelined with a right ring finger fracture.
Elsewhere in the 2025-26 Regular Season, the New York Knicks delivered a 145-113 blowout of the Washington Wizards at Madison Square Garden, led by a strong European contingent. French bench player Mohamed Diawara stood out from that group with 12 points, supported by British starter OG Anunoby with nine and Polish reserve Jeremy Sochan with eight. Frenchmen Pacome Dadiet and Ariel Hukporti were held to brief scoreless showings. For the visitors, Serbian Tristan Vukcevic replaced France’s Alex Sarr (left big toe capsulitis) in the starting lineup and tallied 13 points before exiting with lower back tightness. French starter Bilal Coulibaly also finished with 13 points in the loss.
At Golden 1 Center, the Sacramento Kings secured a 126-122 victory over the Brooklyn Nets behind French starter Maxime Raynaud, posting 22 points and ten rebounds. However, fellow French starter Killian Hayes exited with a left foot toe injury after scoring two points, and Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis (left meniscus repair) remained unavailable. Starting for Spanish coach Jordi Fernandez, France’s Nolan Traore scored 17 points, and Israeli reserve Ben Saraf hit a career-best 22, but Israeli starter Danny Wolf left with an ankle injury after his nine points, while Russian Egor Demin (left plantar fascia injury management) remained out.
Finally, the Phoenix Suns dominated the Toronto Raptors 120-98 at the Mortgage Matchup Center in a one-sided affair. Austrian starting center Jakob Poeltl went scoreless for Serbian head coach Darko Rajakovic, while Georgian Sandro Mamukelashvili finished with five points off the bench.
