Only seven players were available for Monaco, but they still got the 81-75 win over EuroCup winners Bourg, to start the playoffs the right way.
Mike James and Juhann Begarin were suspended, while Nikola Mirotic, Daniel Theis, and Alpha Diallo were also unavailable.
Jaron Blossomgame with 20 points was the top scorer of the winners, while Okobo returned to action after his strike and scored 11 points. Entering the last minute, Bourg trailed by two (76-74) but couldn’t do anything better.
Also, in the other series of the night, Nanterre was impressive over Le Man on the way to a 90-74 win.
Donta Scott, with 15 points, led a balanced offensive effort for the winners, while Le Man didn’t have any player scoring in double digits.
