Monaco survived a late scare to defeat Strasbourg 118–114 in a dramatic overtime contest, after surrendering a commanding lead at the end of regulation.

The visitors appeared in control for most of the night, dictating the tempo and maintaining an advantage throughout the game. However, Strasbourg delivered a stunning push in the closing seconds, knocking down a crucial three-pointer to tie the game at 103 and force overtime.

Despite the momentum swing, Monaco regrouped in the extra period and reasserted their dominance. In the five additional minutes, the visitors executed with composure on both ends of the court, ultimately securing the victory.

Individually, Marcus Keene led Strasbourg with an outstanding 34-point performance, while Mike Davis and Abdoulaye N’Doye each added 23 points in a strong offensive showing for the home side.

For Monaco, Mike James and Matthew Strazel paced the scoring with 21 points apiece, while Nemanja Nedović contributed 20 points in a balanced team effort that proved decisive in overtime.

In the end, Monaco’s resilience in the extra period made the difference, overcoming Strasbourg’s late-game heroics to claim a hard-fought win on the road.

Yesterday, Paris Basketball lost against Elan Chalon despite Nadir Hifi’s 36 points.
