I HAVE had enough of Manchester United.

We all consider them the biggest club in the country by far and, arguably, first or second around the world.

Many of us grew up either loving or hating them as a dominant force.

But what are they now? Mickey Mouse FC? Banter FC?

We have watched them become a side you simply laugh at, amazed at how incredibly stupid they have become.

For anyone under the age of 16, United are frankly a JOKE.

NOT SO ROSEY

FA Cup TV games announced as Liam Rosenior gets spooky date for Hull reunion

They have made the same mistakes over and over again since Sir Alex

Ferguson left, and they are doing it all over again with Michael Carrick.

It took them time, too, but when Arsenal wanted to move away from Arsene Wenger, what did they do? He vanished.

The Frenchman can come back whenever he wants. But he is out of the picture at the Emirates.

There is no lingering shadow, he does not have a say in what goes on under Mikel Arteta.

Ferguson is the greatest manager of all time. But what on Earth are United figures doing bowing to him constantly.

And, of course, every time United hit another branch on the way down, the camera pans to their legend looking on disapprovingly from the directors’ box.

Darren Fletcher had no need to ask Fergie’s blessing to take the job. Did he do that before taking a coaching or academy role?

Ferguson doesn’t work there, has nothing to do with the day-to-day running of the club. It’s like me asking my mum before writing this column. Pointless.

But Fletcher and Fergie aren’t the real problems here. It is those right at the top making stupid, naive decisions time and again.

Before, it was the Glazers who were the problem and Sir Jim Ratcliffe was going to be the hero.

But he has appointed a shocking structure.

United are supposed to be best in class but have not acted like it on or off the pitch for far too long.

Looking for a new technical director? Obviously Southampton — where they found Jason Wilcox — is the ideal place to go.

Everyone there will tell you how well things have gone recently.

Then they looked across Manchester to their arch rivals to nab Omar Berrada as chief executive.

City are run superbly, like a machine. But if Berrada was really good, would they have let him go to Old Trafford? Course not.

But the biggest mistake was Dan Ashworth. Ratcliffe managed to hire someone with a proper track record, who has done  some transformational work at Brighton, Newcastle and with England.

And what did they do? Booted him out once there was a whiff of disagreement . . . which is exactly what this club needs.

United desperately need an Ashworth to go in, tear their structure to pieces and build something functional.

But no. Because he doesn’t agree with Wilcox and Berrada we’ll get rid of him and go with the two numpties who don’t know what they’re doing.

They are the ones who have created the managerial mess United find themselves in.

From deciding to sack Erik ten Hag having given him a new deal and hundreds of millions in new players after an FA Cup final win to now, having Carrick as the interim after the interim.

But those are the people who will get the blame. From Ten Hag to Ruben Amorim and now, probably Carrick — who, despite being a former United player, with a fine career has done little to deserve this gig.

Though he is not the one who should be getting the flak from the fans. It is those who are running Manchester United like West Ham.

The question they should ask themselves is simple: What have we been shown to believe that this ownership model and the directors of football can get it right?

Give us one bit of evidence so we can say, they’ve got that right.

We’re all waiting.

Rookie vs rookie

LIAM ROSENIOR will face one of his toughest Premier League tests all season from another rookie today.

Keith Andrews was almost instantly written off when he was handed the reins at Brentford last summer.

But he has put the hard yards in to get this chance and is making the most of it with incredibly smart management.

Andrews hasn’t come in with a grand philosophy, blindly attempting to play attractive football like other young managers.

He has looked at his squad and seen some big, powerful players and also worked out everyone else will hate facing them at set-pieces and long throws.

It is pragmatism in its best form and Brentford are reaping the rewards.
There’s great confidence to Andrews but not arrogance.

It’s been there since we played in a brief spell together at Watford, where he fell out with the manager and quickly moved on.

He was always straight and honest and players will respect that and he plays it the same with the media.

It’s not the Keith Andrews show, players will like the fact he does not overdo things or take every opportunity to pump his own profile.

His opponent Rosenior, knows he has a lot to learn in terms of the Premier League and keeping an eye on Andrews is a good start.
