Inching closer to the 2026-27 tipoff, the BKT EuroCup is experiencing a major influx of talent as clubs finalize roster moves with a mix of veteran stability and rising stars.

Headlining the most impactful recent moves is Le Mans securing a contract extension for 33-year-old big TaShawn Thomas, a crucial signing that keeps the veteran forward-center for a fourth season as he debuts in the second tier of Euroleague Basketball following his record-breaking career in the Basketball Champions League. Adding similar leadership, Baglietto Derthona Tortona welcomed back Giulio Gazzotti, a 2.02-meter center who helped promote the club to Italy’s top-flight division in 2021, bringing domestic experience to a competitive roster featuring Justin Gorham and Prentiss Hubb.

In Germany, the Rostock Seawolves completed their backcourt by picking up seasoned guard Johnathan Stove on a one-year deal, infusing the roster with heavy continental experience alongside Zach Copeland and DeAndre Lansdowne. Meanwhile, Niners Chemnitz bolstered their frontcourt under coach Rodrigo Pastore by snatching versatile forward Urald King from rivals Vet-Concept Gladiators Trier as their seventh foreign player, relying on his interior scoring and rebounding.

Further strengthening the competition, La Laguna Tenerife safely retained an essential core by extending playmaker Bruno Fitipaldo and center Fran Guerra. In Lithuania, Lietkabelis secured 25-year-old winger Daniel Baslyk on a one-year contract, adding a physical forward. Finally, Rigas Zelli signed high-energy defensive guard Gustavs Kampuss to a two-year contract, while the London Lions confirmed fan favorite Aaryn Rai is returning to sustain their rotation.
