After nearly 12 years, former Partizan captain Joffrey Lauvergne has returned to the club where he made his name, fulfilling a promise he made upon his departure in June 2014—that their paths would cross again.

The experienced center, born on September 30, 1991, has officially signed with KK Partizan and is expected to join the squad shortly under head coach Peñarroya.

Since leaving Partizan, Lauvergne built an extensive international career, playing for clubs such as BC Khimki and Fenerbahçe Beko, as well as Žalgiris Kaunas and ASVEL Basket. He also had a stint in the NBA, featuring for teams including the Denver Nuggets, Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, and Chicago Bulls.

Now back in Belgrade, Lauvergne will wear the number 77 jersey for the upcoming season, as he begins a new chapter with the black-and-whites, bringing experience and leadership to a team aiming for success.
