Jake Paul revealed today that he’d signed WBC female lightweight champion Caroline Dubois to his MVP Promotions. She’ll be fighting on the undercard of his clash against Anthony Joshua on December 19th at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

Caroline Dubois Joins MVP Stable

Dubois (11-0-1, 5 KOs) will be making her third defense of her WBC title against Camila Panatta in a 10-rounder. Carolina, 24, is the sister of former IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.

Jake Teases Fans First

Jake had fans worried earlier today when he posted on social media, which some interpreted as a prelude to him pulling out of his Netflix clash against Joshua. However, it was to set them up for his announcement of the signing of Carlone Dubois to MVP Promotions. It’s an excellent addition to the undercard on Netflix.

“All I want is a fair fight—even the odds. Joshua brought in Usyk. So only right I bring in Dubois. Had to be done,” said Jake Paul on X, announcing that he’d signed Caroline Dubois to his MVP Promotions today.

Upset Dream for Paul

Jake is looking to pull off a big upset against former two-time heavyweight champion Joshua in the main event. The fight is scheduled for eight rounds, and not many boxing fans are giving him much chance of defeating AJ. But he’s catching the 36-year-old Joshua at the perfect time, with him coming off a fifth-round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois and a 15-month layoff. It doesn’t get any better than this.

A victory over Joshua would be a massive upset for Jake, as he would prove that hard work, youth, and ambition are key in this sport. It also helps to have the money to assemble a dream team in terms of sparring help. Not even AJ has the kind of sparring partners that Jake has. He may not feel that it’s needed, given Paul’s YouTuber background.
