Joventut secured an away victory over Würzburg in the third round of Group K in the Round of 16 of the Basketball Champions League, with a score of 85-83.
The match in Germany was decided in the final second by Cameron Hunt’s points, who thus brought victory to his team after an excellent game and drama.
He was the best in the winning team with 18 points, Michael Ruzic added 15, and Ricky Rubio had 13 points and seven assists. On the other side, Marcus Carr had 19 points and nine assists, while Davion Mintz added 18.
Joventut now has a 3-0 record in Group K and will visit Chalon in the next round. Meanwhile, Würzburg has all three losses, and their first win will be sought against Unicaja on their home court.
