Maccabi Tel Aviv secured a victory in Game 2 of the Israeli Winner League semifinals by defeating Hapoel Holon on the road with a score of 84-74.
With this win, the team from Tel Aviv claimed their second consecutive victory, leading the series 2-0, and is now one step away from reaching the finals.
Jaylen Hoard had an extraordinary game, scoring 30 points, Oshae Brissett added 13, Iffe Lundberg 12, while John DiBartolomeo contributed 11. On the other side, Adama Sanogo was the only player to score in double figures with 22 points.
Maccabi effectively decided the winner in the first quarter, which they won 23-9. Hapoel Holon managed to slightly reduce the deficit, but the team from Tel Aviv convincingly won the third quarter (22-11), pulled away, and ultimately claimed victory.
The third game of the series is scheduled for Friday at 14:00 CEST.
