Georgia Tech Volleyball (16-13) will make their 15th NCAA Tournament and record 6th consecutive appearance where they will play the #8-seed UCLA in Lexington, Kentucky. Georgia Tech was drawn into #2-seed Kentucky’s quadrant and would likely play the Wildcats if they managed to beat UCLA.
Tech’s match against UCLA is slated to start at 4:30pm on Thursday, December 4. If Tech wins, their next match will be Friday, December 5 at 7pm. Both will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks or on ESPN+.

Georgia Tech was one of the last four teams in along with North Carolina (who beat Tech 3-1 earlier this season), South Florida (Michelle Collier’s alma mater), and Utah (cool).
Per Evollve, Tech’s match against UCLA will be a close one as they are only separated by 4 spots in their rankings (GT 33rd, UCLA 29th). Kentucky is 4th and Wofford (who Tech swept earlier this season) is 123rd.
In the very small chance Tech were to advance past the 2nd round, they would likely face USC or BYU on the road.
Tech finished the season losing four of their last three games, but all to top 7 teams (Louisville, Stanford, Pitt) who all were preseason favorites to compete for the national championship.
In a sense, Tech has truly limped into the tournament as both Liv Mogridge Larissa Mendes have been out for the majority of the season with leg injuries and are not expected to play in the NCAA Tournament. Texas A&M transfer Ital Lopuyo has also been out since the middle of ACC play with an injury.
