FIFA is charging disabled fans up to 4,900 per cent more for World Cup tickets.

None are available in the lowest tier £45 seats — and unlike in 2022, carer seats are not free.

England wheelchair fans in Dallas for the June 17 opener against Croatia face paying a minimum £198, plus the same for a companion.

The £396 total is 50 times — or 4,900 per cent — more than in Qatar 2022, when disabled tickets cost just £8 and companions were free.

Gregg Baxter, 24, who has cerebral palsy, said: “I play powerchair football for England and would love to see them in the World Cup.

“There’s no way I could afford these prices.”

Stephen Reside, disability lead for the Scottish Football Union, said: “It’s a deliberate choice to punish disabled supporters and wring as much money as they can from us.”

Football Supporters’ Europe added: “It directly contradicts Fifa’s claims that 2026 will set new standards in diversity and inclusion.”

Fifa has slashed accessible seating by a third, to as few as nine wheelchair fans per team at some games.

It is allowing disabled tickets for resale at treble the face value — plus no guarantee carers would be seated nearby.

The governing body has also ditched proof of disability.

Gregg added: “What’s stopping an able-bodied person buying a ticket then reselling it for a higher price to a disabled person?

“It stinks.”

Meanwhile, Fifa boss Gianni Infantino, has been slammed for saying it was “really special no British fans” were arrested at the 2022 World Cup.

The Football Supporters’ Association said: “Rather than making cheap jokes, he should concentrate on making cheap tickets.”
