This comes as Spurs bosses were weighing up the future of current boss Thomas Frank, 52, who has come under increased pressure.

Tottenham won the game 2-0 against ten-man Dortmund with Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke both netting as they fight for a spot in the last 16.

Outrage against the Dane heightened after the fan reaction to their home defeat against relegation-battling West Ham.

Spurs then sank into 14th in the Premier League, eight points off the top five and ten from relegation spots.

There is a feeling that is spreading that the Dane has lost authority and it would be advantageous for parties to split ways.

Frank has led Spurs through seven difficult months after losing out on the UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, EFL trophy – and now look to struggle in the league.

Graham Potter may be the solution to their misery.

The former Chelsea, Brighton, and West Ham manager would be a seasoned choice in the Premier League.

But Potter has been Sweden‘s national team boss since October 2025.

Since then Sweden have lost 4-1 to Switzerland and drawn 1-1 with Slovenia in World Cup Qualifiers.

There next game comes against Ukraine in March.

Though Kulusevski may not feature, as the Swedish international has been sidelined since April due to a long-term knee injury.

Mauricio Pochettino would also be among the list of next permanent managers after he concludes business with USA national team at the World Cup.
