Aspen Ladd is keeping the gloves off, but has shifted to a different organization.
BKB officials announced in a press release that the former UFC fighter has signed a multi-fight deal with the bare-knuckle promotion.
“I’m excited for this next chapter and the opportunity to compete in BKB,” Ladd said in the release. “Bare knuckle boxing brings out a different level of intensity and authenticity, and that’s something that really appeals to me as a fighter. I can’t wait to get started and show BKB fans what I can do inside the Trigon.”
A person with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Ladd signed a four-fight deal with the company, with her first fight to be announced at a later date.
Ladd had a seven-fight run in the UFC that ended with back-to-back losses to Raquel Pennington and Norma Dumont, along with a weight miss for a scheduled fight with Sara McMann in September 2022. Since then, Ladd went 3-2 for the PFL and earned a first-round knockout win in her bare-knuckle debut at BKFC 84 this past November.
