A player on the rise
Mintz arrives in Dubai following an impressive season with Würzburg Baskets. The American guard averaged 16.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3 assists across 31 German League appearances.
He maintained his strong form during the playoffs, recording 15 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. Mintz also made a significant impact in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 15.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 14 appearances.
A versatile combo guard, Mintz is comfortable creating his own shot and spacing the floor with his three-point shooting. His scoring ability and offensive versatility add another dimension to Dubai Basketball’s backcourt.
From college standout to European professional
Mintz played collegiate basketball for Creighton University and the University of Kentucky before beginning his professional career in the United States.
Following the 2022 NBA Draft, he signed with the Washington Wizards and spent two seasons with the Capital City Go-Go in the NBA G League.
In 2024, Mintz briefly joined Metros de Santiago in the Dominican Republic before moving to Europe later that year to play for Belgian side Filou Oostende.
His development continued in Germany after signing with Würzburg Baskets in February 2025, where he established himself as an impactful guard and continued to elevate his game.”
