We are ready to solve a riddle heading to Round 24 of the 2025-26 EuroLeague Regular Season with Nikola Milutinov ruled out by Olympiacos for Thursday’s clash with Anadolu Efes in Turkcell Basketball Development Center. Will it be Donta Hall or Tyrique Jones instead of the 31-year-old Serbian center on our Fantasy lineup?
Milutinov has established himself among the top Fantasy players and beyond. For the second time this year, similar to the previous Istanbul visit, his absence creates a major challenge for Fantasy players.
Trying to convince us he is not in your lineup would be absurd.
We must remove him from our squad since he has a concussion and did not travel with the Reds.
The last time he was out, we went with Hall against Fenerbahce Beko, and were happy with our decision.
But then the options for head coach Giorgos Bartzokas in the five position were limited, except for Kostas Antetokounmpo.
Now Jones is on board, one of the best Fantasy centers.
Do we pick him up or return to Hall?
We will review and conclude:
- Against Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv, Jones played seven minutes, and Hall reached ten as the backups for Milutinov
- Both players recorded significant Performance Index Ratings for such brief showings, 8 and ten, respectively
- Jones is tagged at 14.2 credits and Hall at 12.4
Theoretically, Jones is considered the starting center for the next game, but he has participated in only a few team practices since joining his new teammates, compared to the fellow US import.
If you are looking for a budget-friendly option, choose Hall. Our tip is to pick up Jones, and we will see where it leads…
Panathinaikos: Sloukas or Toliopoulos?
To make it clear, missing Kendrick Nunn has been a Fantasy problem over the last two games, since neither the combination of Juancho Hernangomez and Richaun Holmes versus FC Bayern Munich, nor Cedi Osman against Cosner Baskonia, did the trick.
That was on us, and we are moving on.
Facing Baskonia, Vassilis Toliopoulos and Kostas Sloukas were brilliant, tallying a PIR of 21 and 18, respectively.
Nunn is out once more, so it might make sense to invest 12.6 credits on Sloukas, and even better, put in the 5.6 units of the fellow bronze medalist of last summer’s EuroBasket 2025 with Greece.
Toliopoulos will get playing time, and practically costs nothing. From the lower Fantasy tiers, he can perhaps match the tally of players at 13 or 15 credits, like Saben Lee, whom we suggested three weeks ago.
