Bo Nickal is joining the Khamzat Chimaev vs. Tyron Woodley show, and he’s not getting an easy matchup.

RAF announced Tuesday that Nickal is set to wrestle Olympic wrestling champion Shirvani Muradov at the upcoming RAF Moscow event, which is headlined by Chimaev vs. Woodley, on Sept. 5.

A rising contender in the UFC’s middleweight division, Nickal has recently returned to his wrestling roots with RAF, defeating Jacob Cardenas at the freestyle wrestling promotion’s inaugural event this past August. A subsequent matchup with MMA veteran Yoel Romero fell through, but Nickal is already scheduled to face 2026 NCAA Division-I champion Max McEnelly at RAF 12 on Aug. 22 and then square off with Muradov.

Nickal won three consecutive NCAA Division-I championships before transitioning to MMA as one of the most hyped prospects in years. He is currently 6-1 in the UFC, with his most recent win being a first-round knockout over Kyle Daukaus at UFC White House.

Muradov makes his RAF debut. He won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at 96 kg. (approx. 212 pounds) representing Russia.

RAF Moscow airs live on Fox Nation on Sept. 5 In the main event, former UFC champions Khamzat Chimaev and Tyron Woodley square off.
