On Thursday, it became clear that Tarik Biberovic is officially leaving Fenerbahce, where he has been since 2018, after joining from OKK Spars.
Biberovic will be trying his hand outside of Europe and the EuroLeague for the first time, with his next club being the Dallas Mavericks.
He bid farewell to the fans and the club with an emotional message on Instagram.
“I never imagined this moment would come. I’ve never written a farewell message before. Now, as I write these lines, it feels like whatever I say will fall short.
Since the day I arrived here, I’ve experienced so much and learned a lot. Wearing this jersey, fighting for this emblem, and playing in front of these fans has always been a great honor for me.
We laughed together, we were sad together, we fought together. I sincerely thank everyone who supported me from day one to the last, who always made me feel their love.
Fenerbahce was not just a club for me. I found a family here, and I created memories that I will never forget for a lifetime.
