Leading Olympiacos to the 1997 EuroLeague title and being one of the biggest names in European basketball, former Laker David Rivers has given a lot to basketball and continues to do so as a mentor to young players.
However, Rivers is much more than that, and he is proving it on a field outside sports.
The former player, alongside partner & IP Inventor Silvia Bui, announced a breakthrough with inert green-smart food safety and greenhouse agriculture technologies through SRGB Srl (Italy) and Sanitizing Treatment LLC (USA), the Insectiblock Registered Systems.
This dry, nontoxic, nano-microparticle innovation represents one of the industry’s most significant technological advances since the rise of green and smart systems and is projected to save $60 billion in global food waste between 2025 and 2031. The technologies are backed by Science-Independent 3rd Parties, government-verified, with confirmed validation of their sustainability, efficacy, and reliability.
It sounds impressive, as Rivers, a magician on the court, is spearheading the effort made by the companies’ research and development division, responsible for creating the revolutionary patents for advanced smart hardware systems and inert consumable technologies that control and neutralize flies and insects without chemicals, pesticides, or insecticides. It’s an industry disruptor, solving long-standing contamination challenges in food processing, storage, and controlled agricultural environments.
“We are proud to be the only companies worldwide offering a bona fide solution for eliminating flies and insects in the presence of raw meat and food processing environments,” says Rivers with his new moniker as the company’s co-founder & director of global operations development.
“Our customized applications, performance, and compelling client economics define our identity. Our mission is to set the global standard for food safety. Our solutions are environmentally friendly, nontoxic, and safe for humans and livestock.”
So while sports sometimes can be a matter of life and death, especially in Europe, David Rivers’ new effort scientifically ensures improved food safety standards, and can also provide a new way of life in healthier food nutrition globally.
