ASVEL staged an epic comeback to take the victory on the road against Nancy (82-88) after two losses in a row.
Glynn Watson (25) and Paul Eboua (16) were the top scorers for Poupet’s team. Braian Angola added 15.
After a poor first quarter from ASVEL, Nancy picked up the pace to pull away from the Euroleague team before the break (55-31) with a 28-13 run.
The Euroleague team reacted in the third quarter (65-55 after a 10-24 run), and completed the comeback (82-88) after being down by 27 points in the second quarter (61-34).
They scored a solid 17-33 on the fourth quarter to avoid their third loss in a row in the domestic league. The fourth across all competitions.
