UFC standouts Arman Tsarukyan and Jean Silva are joining a loaded lineup at Hype Fighting’s next event.

Moscow-based promotion Hype Fighting has been expanding its scope in recent months and it now adds Tsarukyan and Silva to its upcoming March 11 event in Rio de Janeiro, where UFC stars Shara Magomedov and Jorge Masvidal are already set to face one another. All four fighters are set to compete in submission-only grappling matches, with opponents for Tsarukyan and Silva still pending.

Tsarukyan is staying busy as he waits for his next UFC assignment, having participated in several non-MMA competitions outside of the octagon, including his appearance at RAF 6 in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday that ended with him inciting a brawl after he attacked opponent Georgio Poullas following the conclusion of their wrestling match. The top lightweight contender made his Hype FC debut in December, where he outgrappled “Shara Bullet” en route to a draw due to the bout not being judged.

In his most recent UFC fight in November, Tsarukyan made quick work of Dan Hooker to maintain his spot in the contender line.

Silva also awaits a call from the matchmakers following his UFC 324 win over Arnold Allen. One of the featherweight division’s most dynamic strikers and personalities, Silva is firmly in the mix for a shot at UFC champion Alexander Volkanovski.
