ALISHA LEHMANN has returned to English football after signing for Leicester.
Lehmann, 27, penned a two-and-a-half year deal with the Foxes, marking a Women’s Super League comeback two years after leaving Aston Villa.
The forward left Villa for Juventus in 2024 but only spent two seasons in Italy before switching to the East Midlands giants from Como.
Lehmann said: “It feels amazing and I’m so happy to be here.
“It feels like a homecoming, coming back to England, and I’m really happy. Leicester is an amazing club.
“I’ve seen the training ground and, of course, the stadium. They want to push women’s football forward.”

This comes after Lehmann, who also played for West Ham and Everton, went Instagram official with new boyfriend Montel McKenzie.
Former Love Island participant McKenzie, 28, paid a gushing tribute to his partner dubbed the “world’s sexiest footballer” as he celebrated her birthday on Wednesday.
The reality star uploaded a selection of snaps showing him cosying up to the Switzerland international.
A source opened up to The Sun on their connection and told us: “It hasn’t been much of a secret within the Baller League set up.
“They hit it off straight away have been going on dates afterwards.
“Alisha has been flying him to her Como apartment for sneaky weekend breaks for a while now, I don’t think Montel could believe his luck.
“Everyone is really happy for them, although initially everyone thought it was going to be just a casual thing.”
