Welcome to Wrestling Inc.’s live coverage for “AEW Dynamite”: Winter Is Coming on December 11, 2024, coming to you live from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri!

Mariah May will be putting the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line for the first time since retaining against Anna Jay in a No Disqualification Match on the November 16 episode of “AEW Collision” as she defends against former friend Mina Shirakawa. May betrayed Shirakawa in the midst of a Champagne Championship Celebration at AEW Full Gear, which ultimately resulted in the two crashing off the entrance ramp through a table and led to a tense confrontation between the two during last week’s edition of “Dynamite” as May was being interviewed by Renee Paquette.

After they both emerged victorious in the 2024 “Dynamite” Dozen Battle Royal last week, Kyle O’Reilly will be colliding with Adam Cole to determine MJF’s challenger for the “Dynamite” Diamond Ring at AEW Worlds End on December 28. Despite warnings from O’Reilly, Cole has been vocal about wanting to seek retribution against his former Better Than You Bay Bay tag team partner with his Undisputed Kingdom stablemate Roderick Strong having come up short against him at Full Gear.

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley and PAC of The Death Riders will be joining forces to go head-to-head with Orange Cassidy and Jay White in tag team action. After White defeated PAC last week in a singles match, he was blindsided by Moxley and Marina Shafir in a post match beat down until Cassidy and “Hangman” Adam Page came to his aid.

Additionally, Will Ospreay will be taking on Claudio Castagnoli and Ricochet will be going one-on-one with Brody King in a pair of a Gold League matches for the Continental Classic. Castagnoli currently leads the Gold League with six points, while Ospreay, Ricochet, King, and Darby Allin trail behind with three points and Komander has zero.
