Jericho will be taking part in his first match on “Dynamite” since unsuccessfully challenging Kevin Knight of The Don Callis Family for the TNT Championship on August 12 as he collides with Nick Wayne. This will mark the first ever singles match between the pair, with Jericho, Komander, and “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeating Wayne, The Don Callis Family’s Mark Davis, and Tommaso Ciampa on the August 29 episode of “AEW Collision”.
Jon Moxley of The Death Riders will be challenging Will Ospreay for the AEW World Championship at AEW All Out. Before the two men meet in the ring at the August 26 pay-per-view event, Ospreay will be joining forces with his United Empire stablemates Francesco Akira and AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo to square off against Moxley and fellow Death Riders members PAC and Gabe Kidd in a trios match.
Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight of The Don Callis Family will be joining forces with FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler to take on Darby Allin, Steven Borden, and AEW World Tag Team Champion Christian Cage and Adam Copeland. Moments after Fletcher and Knight defeated The Young Bucks in a Tables Match during last Wednesday’s “Dynamite” Rebel Heart television special, FTR and Knight beat down Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson until Allin and Borden came to their aid and forced FTR and Knight to back down.
Additionally, Divine Dominion’s Lena Kross will be going head-to-head with Jamie Hayter of The Brawling Birds after their respective tag team partners Megan Bayne defeated Alex Windsor on the September 2 episode of “Dynamite” and The Brawling Birds prepare to defend their AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship against Divine Dominion in a Chicago Street Fight at AEW All Out on September 26.
We are live! Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Taz greet audiences at home as Darby Allin, Steven Borden, Adam Copeland, and Christian Cage make their way to the ring after tensions between Cage and Allin are shown to be on the rise backstage in a conversation with Renee Paquette. Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, FTR, Don Callis, and Stokely (who joins the commentary desk) follow.
Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, and FTR (w/ Don Callis and Stokely) vs. Darby Allin, Steven Borden, Adam Copeland, and Christian Cage
Fletcher and Copeland begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. Allin tags in, but Cage tags in and Allin decides to tag himself back in as a response. Fletcher gets Allin up in a vertical suplex position, but Allin escapes with a few knees to Fletcher’s head.
Borden tags in, but everyone gets in the ring with one another and stares each other down. Harwood tags in on his side, but Borden levels him with a dropkick and everyone begins brawling with one another.
Back from the break, Allin looks to tag out but Fletcher grabs his ankle to stop him. Harwood and Wheeler send Cage and Copeland crashing into the barricades on the outside, but Borden takes out Knight and Allin tags him in as Harwood has tagged in on his side.
Borden levels Fletcher with a dropkick and sends Knight crashing into the mat spine first, then dropkick Knight out of the ring off the ropes. Wheeler trips up Borden on the ropes, and Fletcher levels Copeland with a kick to his chest. Fletcher and Wheeler work together to send Cage crashing out of the ring before the of them, Knight, and Harwood all fly off the top rope to land splashes on Borden one at a time.
Harwood levels Borden with a clothesline, and Cage hits Harwood with a chair when the referee has his back turned. Copeland spears Knight as Allin ascends to the top rope, but Fletcher goes after Allin. Cage levels Fletcher and delivers Kill Switch to Wheeler, and Allin and Borden then deliver a Scorpion Death Drop-Coffin Drop combination to Harwood for the win.
Winners: Darby Allin, Steven Borden, Adam Copeland, and Christian Cage
After the match, Cage helps up Allin and holds up his AEW World Tag Team Championship belt and Allin’s TNT Championship belt. Allin yanks the belt back from Cage.
Jericho then makes his way to the ring. Nick Wayne follows.
Jericho vs. Nick Wayne
The bell rings and Jericho levels Wayne with a chop. He fires off more of them on him in the corner and delivers a double underhook backbreaker to Wayne, then connects with a delayed vertical suplex on him and delivers a Fireman’s Carry Slam to him on the ring apron. Wayne sends Jericho crashing into the ring steps shoulder first and flies off them to deliver a Canadian Destroyer to Jericho.
Back from the break, Jericho delivers a back body drop to Wayne. He flies off the top rope to take out Wayne with a crossbody on the outside, but Wayne looks to fly off the top rope. Jericho intercepts him with a codebreaker and lands a clothesline on Wayne in the corner, then sits him on the top rope and joins him up there.
Jericho connects with a hurricanrana to Wayne and sets up for Judas Effect, but Waye sees him coming and lands Wayne’s World on him. He goes for a pin, but Jericho kicks out and rips off Wayne’s pooka shell necklace. Wayne looks at the broken necklace appalled, but Jericho takes advantage and rolls him up for the win.
Winner: Jericho
After the match, Jericho extends his hand to Wayne. Wayne refuses to shake it and Jericho looks to leave the ring, but Wayne uses the middle rope to low blow him and rains down right hands on Jericho. He grabs a chair and slides it into the ring, then hits Jericho with the chair twice.
Excalibur then informs fans at home that AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Mone has not been medically cleared to compete at All Out, but will be back in time for AEW WrestleDream on October 17. A subsequent graphic reveals that Willow Nightingale will be taking on Thekla in a Number One Contenders Match for the AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out.
The Conglomeration then makes their way to the ring. Bandido, Brody King, and “Hangman” Adam Page follow.

Page and Kyle O’Reilly begin the action. The bell rings and the two lock up. O’Reilly delivers a kick to Page’s thigh, but Page levels O’Reilly with a shoulder tackle and looks to roll him up. O’Reilly counters into an armbar, but Page kicks out and tags in Bandido. Orange Cassidy tags in and delivers a dropkick-kick combination to Bandido with O’Reilly, but King tags in and Cassidy catches him with a shotgun dropkick. King quickly recovers and rocks Cassidy with a chop to his chest before Roderick Strong tags in.
Back from the break, Page dumps Strong onto the entrance ramp and levels O’Reilly on the outside with a boot. O’Reilly tags in, but Page lands a backbreaker on him and tags out to King. King fires off right hands on Strong in the corner and stacks O’Reilly on top of him, but King dumps Cassidy onto the floor on the outside and sits him in a chair. He charges at him, but Cassidy ducks out of the way and O’Reilly levels King with a kick.
Bandido gets Cassidy up on his shoulders and delivers a cutter to him, then ascends to the top rope and looks to land a splash on Cassidy. Cassidy lands on his feet and catches Bandido with an Orange Punch, and Strong follows it up with an Angle Slam.
Strong drags Cassidy into the corner of the ring and tags himself in as Page tags in on his side. The two men exchange right hands with one another, but Page levels Strong with a clothesline. Cassidy levels Page with a crossbody and jumps on his spine, but Page escapes and jumps on Cassidy’s spine.
Cassidy sets up for an Orange Punch on King, but King sees him coming and catches his right hand. Page then levels Strong with a Buckshot Lariat and pins him for the win.
Winners: Bandido, Brody King, and “Hangman” Adam Page
Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way to the ring. Myles Hawkins is already waiting inside.
Tommaso Ciampa vs. Myles Hawkins
The bell rings and Hawkins cockily takes off the cape he’s wearing. Ciampa blindsides Hawkins with a knee to the side of his face and pins him for the win.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa
Tony Schiavone introduces Swerve Strickland and New Level, and they make their way out with Prince Nana. Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, and Ricochet surprise New Level and Strickland at the bottom of the entrance ramp and take them out. Ricochet then sends Strickland crashing into the ring steps, but Austin Creed fires off right hands on Kaun in the ring. Liona trips up Creed and delivers a Samoan Drop to him before Liona and Kaun land a double Razor’s Edge on Strickland. Ricochet grabs the AEW World Trios Championship belts and hands one each to Kaun and Liona, and the three men stand tall over Strickland and New Level.
Lena Kross then makes her way to the ring. Jamie Hayter follows.
Jamie Hayter vs. Kena Kross
Kross blindsides Hayter with a big boot, and the bell sounds. Kross uses Hayter’s jacket to hit her with, then fires off a chop on her chest and jams her boot into Hayter’s throat. Kross then powerbombs Hayter onto the apron.
Back from the break, Hayter and Kross exchange open palm strikes with one another. Hayter gains the upperhand, but Megan Bayne appears at ringside. Kross grabs a pipe wedged into the ring steps and hits Hayer with it while the referee is distracted by Bayne, then follows it up with a Jack Hammer for the win.
Winner: Lena Kross
After the match, Alex Windsor runs out with a table leg in hand to force Divine Dominion to back down.
We then head backstage, where Kazuchika Okada calls Tommaso Ciampa a b**** while speaking with Renee Paquette. Ciampa blindsides Okada from behind and says he meant he wanted the “Psycho Killer” against “The Rain Maker”.
The Death Riders then make their way to the ring. United Empire follows.
Will Ospreay, Francesco Akira, and Andrade El Idolo vs. Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, and PAC (w/ The Death Riders)
Moxley and Ospreay begin the action. The bell rings and Moxley tags out to Kidd. Ospreay and Kidd lock up with one another, before Andrade El Idolo takes a selfie with a female fan in the crowd.
Inside the ring, Akira has tagged in and Kidd fires off chops on him in the corner. Moxley tags in and dumps Akira out of the ring, but Kidd sends Akira crashing into one of the barricades. Moxley then tags back in and wears down Akira with a Texas Cloverleaf.
Back from the break, Akira lands a double stop on PAC’s chest and tags out to Andrade. Andrade takes off his pants to reveal black trunks, but Ospreay and Moxley tag in. Ospreay fires off right hands on Moxley, but Moxley wears down Ospreay with a sleeper hold. Ospreay responds with a kick to Moxley’s head and delivers a sit-out powerbomb to him, but Akira tags in and delivers a cutter to Moley from the ring apron. He goes for a pin, but Moxley kicks out.
Moxley catches an interfering Andrade with a cutter, but Akira rolls him up. Moxley kicks out, but Kidd delivers a piledriver to Ospreay on the outside and PAC catches Andrade with a hurricanrana on the floor. Inside the ring, Moxley delivers a Death Rider to Akira and cinches in the Bulldog Choke on him. Akira taps out.
Winners: Jon Moxley, Gabe Kidd, and PAC
After the match, Kidd wears down Ospreay with a submission hold on the outside and Moxley locks the Bulldog Choke back in on Akira in the ring. David Finlay and Clark Connors appear to take out Andrade before Moxley throws a chair into the ring over the top rope. Ospreay flies back into the ring and begins taking out The Death Riders, forcing them to retreat outside the ring.
