The bell rings and the two lock up. Allin traps Knight in a side headlock, then fires off chops on Knight’s chest. Knight catches Allin with an uppercut, but Allin levels Knight with a springboard Coffin Drop and pins him. Knight kicks out, but Allin and Knight level one another with clotheslines.

Back from the break, Allin levels Knight with a suicide dive on the outside through the middle rope. Knight responds by flying off the ropes to deliver a clothesline to Allin that sends him crashing over the commentary desk.

Knight dumps Allin back in the ring and ascends to the middle rope, then looks to fly. Allin sees him coming and cinches in a Scorpion Death Lock on him as he continues to target Knight’s injured left knee, but Knight escapes and drapes Allin off the top rope by his knees. He delivers a Coast-To-Coast to him off the adjacent top rope, then ascends back up to the top and land sa UFO Splash on Allin. He goes for a pin, but Allin kicks out given that Knight took a few seconds to pin him. Allin then cinches in a Guillotine on Knight, but Knight powers up to his feet.

Allin takes him back down and ascends to the top rope, then lands a Coffin Drop to Knight for the win.

Winner (and still): Darby Allin

After the match, Sting makes his way back out to raise both Allin and Knight’s hands. Allin then extends his hand to Knight, and Knight shakes it as a show of respect between the two men.

MJF then makes his way out to demand a rematch for the AEW World Championship once again. Allin reiterates that MJF has to put something on the line if he wants an AEW World Championship rematch, but MJF offers to put his scarf on the line. Allin refuses MJF’s offer, prompting MJF to offer to put his “Dynamite” Diamond Ring on the line. Allin once again says no to MJF’s offer, which leads to MJF offering $1,000,000. Allin says no once again.

MJF asks Allin what he wants, and Allin says he wants MJF to shave his head. He says there will be a contract signing next week, and if MJF doesn’t show up, he never gets a rematch for the AEW World Championship. MJF responds by storming to the back. Kazuchika Okada’s music hits and he makes his way out to the ring. He challenges Allin to an AEW World Championship match next Wednesday, and Allin agrees.
