Fisher headlines Saturday’s Copper Box Arena card, live on Paramount+ in the US and Sky Sports in the UK.
Johnny Fisher tipped the scales at 243 pounds ahead of his heavyweight clash with Michael Pirotton at London’s Copper Box Arena on Saturday, September 26. Belgium’s Pirotton weighed 240.6 pounds for their scheduled 10-round main event at Zuffa Boxing 11.
Fisher was 2.4 pounds heavier. Paramount+ will broadcast the event in the US, with Sky Sports carrying it in the UK. The event starts at 2 pm ET / 7 pm UK.
The Romford heavyweight enters at 14-1 with 12 knockouts after signing with Dana White’s promotion. Saturday will mark his third appearance at the Copper Box, where he also suffered his only professional defeat against Dave Allen.
Fisher had edged Allen by split decision in their first meeting before Allen stopped him in the rematch. He has since returned to winning ways, stopping Ivan Balaz in four rounds.
His move to Zuffa brings an immediate headline slot.
“The most exciting chapter of my professional career begins,” Fisher said when announcing his signing. “Thank you to Dana White, Nick Khan, and the Zuffa Boxing team for this opportunity. Everything has led to this point. Bull Army, get ready to assemble. Bosh!”
Richards and Kalajdzic Make Weight
Craig Richards registered 174.2 pounds for his 10-round light heavyweight bout against Radivoje Kalajdzic, who weighed 174.5 pounds. Both came in below the 175-pound limit.
Two middleweight bouts are scheduled for 10 rounds each. Lee Cutler weighed 159.5 pounds, with Louis Greene at 159.1, while Cesar Mateo Tapia hit 159.9 pounds against Leo Ruiz’s 159.2.
Kayla Allen and Edina Kiss will contest six rounds, weighing 142.9 pounds and 142 pounds, respectively. Alex MacMillan registered 149.9 pounds for his six-round meeting with Guillaume Azagier, who came in at 151.6.
Those bouts complete the six-fight main card.
Three Bouts on the Prelims
Rogelio Romero weighed 199.2 pounds ahead of his eight-round cruiserweight contest with Aurel Ignat, who registered 199.6 pounds.
Alexis de la Cerda and Cain Lewis both made the featherweight limit for their eight-rounder. De la Cerda came in at 125.4 pounds, with Lewis slightly heavier at 125.6.
Fred Pullen faces Leonardo Faretina over four rounds at lightweight. Pullen weighed 131.4 pounds, while Faretina registered 132.7, completing the nine-bout London bill.
