Following a successful title defense over Kiera Hogan last week, TNA Knockouts Television Champion M By Elegance will now pivot her attention to Elayna Black. The former WWE star earned a future title opportunity by conquering a fatal-four-way bout on Thursday night’s edition of “TNA Impact.”
Black, Gabby Forza, Harley Hudson and Jada Stone faced off in the four-way, with Black bursting out the gate with a strike to Forza, which “The Gnomie” immediately turned into a powerful slam into the mat. Stone and Hudson looked to take Forza off balance with a flurry of punches next, only to get dropped with a double clothesline. Forza continued her offense by crushing Hudson in the corner. Black eventually broke things up, however, by blasting her with an elbow and a hurricanrana, the latter of which sent Forza flying across the ring.
In the match’s closing moments, all four women met atop the turnbuckle. Forza then sent all of them crashing right down off her vertical suplex to Stone. Once they reached their feet once more, Stone and Black nailed Forza with a double dose of superkicks. Stone followed with a double stomp to Black’s back, only to get launched into Hudson right after. Forza reentered the mix with a back elbow to Stone. Her momentum was brief, though, as Stone successfully connected with the Spark Stunner. Forza subsequently rolled out of the ring, leaving Stone to get spiked by Black’s DDT.
With her win, Black will challenge M for the Knockouts Television Championship at a time and place yet to be announced. M claimed the title by besting Stone in the finals of a competitive tournament on August 27. Per the new title’s rules, it will be exclusively defended on “Impact” programming alongside a strict 10-minute time limit.
