Although she has returned to TV and reignited her feud with Lyra Valkyria, Bayley’s contract status is still up in the air. While there were rumors that the multi-time champion had re-signed with WWE, another report says she hasn’t re-signed, while yet another says she’s expected to re-sign. With rumors that the “Role Model” could potentially leave WWE, many have wondered if she’d follow her best friend, Mercedes Moné to AEW.
On “Grilling JR”, Jim Ross weighed in on if he’d like to see Bayley in AEW. He said Tony Khan has done a great job hiring good talents for the women’s division. “The division continues to strengthen as we move forward. So Bayley can help answer questions some of these young ladies might not have the answers to. She can be a leader, which is very important. And she’s still a hell of a hand.”
Ross goes on to say that Bayley is a talented worker. He believes that Khan would have to be interested in bringing her in if she were available. “I would celebrate her arrival if it were to occur,” Ross said.
