Following the recent news that former WWE Superstar Ilja Dragunov is set to join All Elite Wrestling, another top free agent with experience in both WWE and TNA looks to be on their way to AEW, if they haven’t signed with the company already.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has been informed by sources from within All Elite Wrestling that there is a lot of interest in bringing Dani Luna to the company, and that if she hasn’t signed a contract already, she will be very soon. AEW sources told Sapp that the rumors of Luna potentially being brought in had been going around before the company’s recent trip to the United Kingdom for AEW All In London 2026, as well as the “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision” episodes that took place in Glasgow, Scotland. Furthermore, another AEW source admitted that they thought Luna was actually going to debut at one of those shows considering she is British, but as we know now, that never ended up happening.

Luna was granted her release from her TNA contract back in April after spending three years with the company. She became a two-time TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion alongside Jody Threat as part of Spitfire, and was heavily praised for her Dog Collar Match she had with Indi Hartwell at the end of 2025. Before her time in TNA, Luna was best known for being part of the “WWE NXT UK” roster between 2019 and 2022, though she was released from the company shortly before “NXT UK” stopped airing.

Away from the major American companies, Luna has kept busy over the summer with ATTACK! Wrestling and RevPro in the UK, wXw in Germany, and even getting a handful of appearances for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling in Canada. However, she scaled back on her appearances throughout the summer to heal some nagging injuries.
