WWE will host its next Saudi Arabia PLE in November, with Crown Jewel set to take place in the Middle Eastern country, and a few more details emerging about the show and the future of the John Cena Classic.
As per “PWInsider Elite,” Crown Jewel will be held in November, although they haven’t yet learnt of a date for the show. The report added that the promotion’s top champions will clash for the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Championship, just like they did last year. Seth Rollins and Stephanie Vaquer had emerged as the men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Champions last year, when the show took place in Australia.
The outlet also had some details about the John Cena Classic, which was announced by John Cena earlier this year at the Backlash PLE. The latest information is that the event will take place around the end of the year, with the outlet being told that it will take place post-Survivor Series: WarGames. Survivor Series is scheduled to be held on November 28 in Houston, Texas.
A few weeks after he announced the John Cena Classic, Cena said that the whole project is a work in progress, with the main goal being to offer youngsters of “NXT” an opportunity to mix it up with the experienced stars on the main roster.
